Dodger Game on Bucket List

By Donald Pollock, P.M.

Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth still prevail at Home Lodge # 721, big time. Let me tell you a true story of a recent occurrence right here in our Lodge. We have an elderly Brother (just 87 years old} who had on his “Bucket” list a final trip to a game at Dodger Stadium. He is obviously a huge Dodger fan. However, reality, his doctors, family and his body, especially since a near fatal auto accident last June suggested that the fulfillment of that dream was very doubtful.”

Oh Say Can You See

By Donald Pollock, P.M.

“Oh say can you see, by the dawn’s early light, what so proudly we hail at the twilight’s last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars thro’ the perilous fight, O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof thru the night that our flag was still there. O’ say doth that star spangled banner yet wave o’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?”

Cardinal Virtues

By Stepan Varsam, P.M.

If you had three wishes, what would you wish for? Most people would want to: 1. Live Forever, 2. Win the lottery, or 3. Have peace on earth. Living forever, although it seems immortal, is one of the most mortal parts of mankind’s abilities. We all live forever, for as long as you live that is forever. When your body expires your spirit lives on and people who know you will remember you, and that remembrance will keep you living forever.

Spring is Here!

By Donald Pollock, P.M.

Spring is here! Flowers are blooming! The weather is warming up, and have you noticed that people seem to be smiling and laughing more.

Tools for Critical Thinking

By Eduardo Estrada, P.M.

We are drowning in misinformation and misleading claims. Save yourself with the essential skills of science literacy and critical thinking. Understanding the process of science and how to draw reasonable conclusions from the available evidence can empower you to make better decisions and protect you from being fooled or harmed.
So many have asked me, “what has become of our proud Lodge? The feeling is just not the same.” So many used to come to Degrees, Stated Meetings, Funerals, and Events, consistently.
