“I ask of each Mason, of each
member, of each brother, that he shall
remember ever that there is upon him a peculiar obligationto show himself in every respect a good citizen; for after all,the way he can best do his duty by the ancient order towhich he belongs is by reflecting credit upon that order byway in which he performs his duty as a citizen of the UnitedStates.”
– Theodore Roosevelt

As we enter November, I’m excited for the holiday opportunities to spend time with family, loved ones, and my brothers in Lodge. This month beginning withAll Saint’s Day, I’m reminded of the souls of ourdeparted brethren. One year ago we lost our Chaplainand dear friend, Sean Inniss. He was one of mycoaches and one of the greatest men I had the pleasureof knowing. Since then we have lost Wor. Jack Klapper,Bro. Sam Rotner, and Bro Jerry Glassman, all men whocontributed to the history of our lodge. Their soulsrest in the Celestial Lodge Above, while we on Earthcontinue to labor and keep their memories.

From the East,
Wor. Peter G. Vogelsang
