Please accept my apologies for my absence from the lodge. We are in the busy season of our industry which means plenty of work and long hours. Thanks to everyone who reached out to check on me.Your calls and texts really warmed my heart while reminding me how much I miss our lodge and brothers.Every once in a while, I run into a fellow Mason at work and we share stories while getting to know each other but there’s no feeling like being back at Home.
The other day I received a phone call from a brother whom I haven’t spoken with for a very long time. I was happy to hear that he is doing well and that his business was prospering nicely. We all should reach out to one another to say hi. They say that good news travels fast, but we shouldn’t reserve phone calls for good news only.Sometimes it’s nice to call just to say hi, so pick up the phone and call a brother or friend without waiting for a particular reason to do so. You may spread some positivity that may end up being contagious.
In my absence from the lodge, please don’t think that you can’t reach out to me to discuss any business pertaining to my seat in the West or lodge business in general. I’m always available and if I’m not, you can text or leave a voicemail until I get back to you. The SeniorWarden position is to assist the Worshipful Master and the lodge so let me know if there is anything I can do to help with anything. Thank you very much and I look forward to sitting in lodge with everyone.
From the West,
Wor. Michael David, P.M.Senior Warden
