WORSHIPFUL STEVE EBERHARDT P.M., MASTER

WM Eberhardt   Dear Brethren and Ladies,
Thank you for electing me as Master of Home Lodge No. 721. Here is the Living Business Plan your officers have adopted:

Vision
(Potential Energy)

Home Lodge #721 is a place where men of good character come together to improve themselves, their families, and their communities. It is a place where the highest Masonic values are learned by its members and applied in all their doings. As Masons, we learn a way of life from our ancient teachings, develop meaningful and fulfilling lifelong relationships, and grow as enlightened men. It is also a place where men never hesitate to go out of their way to assist a widow, or a fallen brother. Home Lodge is a “home” where our members and their families can find spirituality and like minded positive thinkers, and it is a place where members of our community can depend on us for stability, leadership, and enlightenment.

Strategy
(Actualized Energy)

To -
Spread the Masonic light of reason and civility, not only within the lodge, but also throughout our respective communities,
In a way -
that promotes a lifestyle, that exhibits a high value for positive interactions, charity for the incapacitated, or destitute, and a thirst for continuous improvement,
So that -
our members become role models and Masonic Ambassadors to their respective communities for the purpose of exporting our universal Masonic values to help our communities become a better place to live.

Action Plan
(Design)

  1. Establish a Masonic Ambassador committee whose purpose is to plan and execute outreach strategies for introducing Freemasonry to the community (e.g.. Chamber of Commerce, trade shows, local schools, speaker’s bureau, Child ID Program).
  2. Implement separate Masonic Education Programs for our Ambassadors, Master Masons, and our community, some of which would consist of non-proprietary Masonic information that might be of interest to potential candidates.
  3. Identify and order appropriate Masonic collateral to disseminate to potential candidates at trade shows and lectures.
  4. Design new and innovative events (e.g., House of Blues, Museum of Tolerance.)
