In an effort to provide more community outreach and also reach out to our widows and brethren, the Hunny-Do team meets after stated meeting while the master masons are at business. The Hunny-Dos consist of any one who wants to contribute to our outreach- the ladies of lodges-wives and widows, the EAs , FCs and any visitors and the brethren.

On July 7th, we had our gathering and we had 20 people participate- EAs and wives and widows and guests considering joining Lodge. It was a fantastic turnout!

We held the Sweetheart (widows) Tea on June 26th at 1pm at the Canoga Bowl We had a wonderful turnout and gave each Sweetheart a special pin. We are planning another Sweetheart event in November.

We have a service project for all masons, and families at the Midnight Mission on August 28th. Please meet at the lodge at 2:15 p.m. so we can carpool down. Please RSVP to Lisa at 805-529-5765. Limit 30 people.

Next month we will be stuffing backpacks with school supplies to be given to underprivileged children.

Update on our first project: Supporting our troops with letters and care packages.

We have received an email from Sgt. Balderas. His unit received our letters and care packages and was very grateful. His unit is coming home in the next month without suffering any casualties. Thank Heaven. We continue to collect items below for all of our troops!

Lists of needs are below for our Troops, West Valley Animal shelter , Wildlife Waystation and Homes For Life and school supplies/backpacks. Since every Wednesday night is Lodge night, continue to bring in items and give them to Wor. Steve.

Next Month: we ask the Hunny-Do’s to bring in school supplies and backpacks. See you on August 4th, after the Stated Meeting!
