In an effort to provide more community outreach and also reach out to our widows and brethren, the Hunny-Do team meets after stated meeting while the master masons are at business. The Hunny-Dos consist of anyone who wants to contribute to our outreach; the ladies of lodges-wives and widows, the EAs, FCs and any visitors and the brethren.

Wednesday night 3/3, we had our second gathering and we had 35 people participate-5 EAs and FCs and 30 wifes and widows. It was a fantastic turnout!

We made No-sew fleece blankets for various charities:

  • Blankets of Hope (wounded soldiers)
  • Orphanages
  • Shriners hospital

All materials will be provided by Calvary Community Church Blanket Ministry. Willing hands made 40 blankets!. There was so much positive energy and fellowship flowing look for the pics on the website.
Update on our first project - supporting our troops with letters and care packages.

Next Month we ask the Hunny-Do’s to bring in baked goods (store bought is fine). We will be putting goody trays together for our local heroes- our first responders- police fire fighters and emergency room staff. We also will start our planning meetings for our Hunny-Do Workday Saturdays where we will reach out to our widows and brethren who need light work done around their house ie light bulbs changed, grass mowed, a closet cleaned out, a day of errands. We want to make sure our widows and brethren in need know that the Lodge still cares and stands ready to help.
See you next month 4/7 after stated meeting!
If you have any questions or suggestions for the Hunny-Do team feel free to call the Master’s wife Lisa.
